Best Car Carpet Cleaner

Fabric couches trap dust, stains, and allergens over time, making deep cleaning essential for hygiene and longevity. A fabric spot steam cleaner simplifies this task-here's how to use it effectively:

1. Prep the surface first
Vacuum the couch thoroughly to remove loose dirt and debris, paying attention to crevices. Blot fresh stains gently with a dry cloth to absorb excess liquid; avoid rubbing, which can set stains deeper. Check the couch's care label to confirm it's steam-safe (look for "W" or "WS" codes).

2. Operate the steam cleaner
Fill the cleaner's tank with distilled water (to prevent mineral buildup) and heat it to 130–150°C, typical for fabric-safe steam. Attach the spot-cleaning nozzle, hold it 2–3 inches above the stain, and release short bursts of steam. Move in small, circular motions to lift grime without saturating the fabric. For tough stains, repeat after 30 seconds.

3. Finish and maintain
Blot excess moisture with a clean towel, then let the couch air-dry completely (4–6 hours) with windows open. Once dry, fluff cushions to restore texture.
