Precautions for using portable steam irons include the following:
Preheating safety: Portable steam irons preheat very quickly and can reach high temperatures in 2-3 seconds. When using, do not let any part of your body touch the bottom of the iron to prevent burns.
Parking position: The iron must be parked with its tail on the ground, not flat. Although there is no danger of open flames, it is easy to burn clothes or tables.
Maximum temperature: The maximum temperature of the iron can reach 230 degrees Celsius. Do not place it on flammable items to prevent fire.
Water adding operation: Before use, unplug the power plug first, then add cold boiled water to the water tank. Avoid using cold water to prevent scale from clogging the ventilation pipe. Be careful not to exceed the maximum allowable water level when adding water.
Ironing temperature: Choose the appropriate temperature according to different fabrics. If you are not sure about the fabric of the clothes, you can try ironing in an inconspicuous place first, and gradually increase from low temperature.
After ironing: After ironing, turn off the steam button, pour out the remaining water, then turn the temperature knob to the highest level and heat it. After the internal water evaporates, turn it to the lowest level and store it after cooling.
Prevent leakage: Before use, the yellow and green two-color wires in the power cord should be grounded to prevent leakage.
Avoid contact with water: The iron is not waterproof, so do not put the iron in water or let it contact water to prevent leakage.
For children: The iron is not a product for children, so do not give it to children under 12 years old.
