Steaming Iron

A steam iron's water tank can accumulate limescale and mineral deposits over time, clogging steam vents and reducing efficiency. Regular cleaning keeps it working smoothly-here's how:

Prep safely
Unplug the iron and let it cool completely (15–20 minutes). Empty any remaining water from the tank to avoid spills during cleaning.

Descale with a natural solution
Mix equal parts distilled water and white vinegar (or a citric acid solution) to fill ⅓ of the tank. Plug in the iron, set it to the steam mode, and let it heat for 5 minutes. Hold the iron over a sink and press the steam button to release the solution through the vents-this flushes out deposits. Turn off, unplug, and let the solution sit in the tank for 30 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly
Empty the tank, then fill it twice with fresh distilled water. Heat the iron again, release steam through the vents for 1 minute each time to flush out leftover vinegar. Repeat until the tank is clean.

Wipe and dry
Use a soft cloth to wipe the tank's interior (if accessible) and the soleplate. Let the iron air-dry completely with the tank empty before storing.

Our factory's steam irons are designed for easy maintenance: features like wide tank openings and anti-limescale coatings simplify cleaning, ensuring long-lasting performance. Built to resist buildup, they stay efficient with minimal upkeep.
